it is a good quality version of the type of place one should expect. it is a scoop chinese food place, but the food is good. the place is not fancy, but one should not expect that. also, the people are nice.
American style Chinese food, which is generally sweeter and more salty than traditional Chinese cuisines. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I ordered a dish with chicken and, sadly, found some crunchy cartilage bits in 3 of the pieces. The flavor was exactly what I would've expected but those "extras" were a bit off putting, which is why I am giving this 4/5. I had also ordered the hot and sour soup, which proved to be delicious, spicy, and perfect in every way! The soup had bits of yummy tofu, egg, mushrooms, and bamboo; it was an act of will to stop when I was full. This hot and sour soup is delicious enough to drown in and not be real upset about it!
Service is quick. Affordable too. Have nothing to company about. I come here when I don't feel like cooking. Just grab the meats, cook fresh jasmine rice at home and bon apetit. Thank you for sharing your traditional food with us.
The food here is always hitting the spot! Prices and portions match. And they almost always have a smile! Actually on my way there now!
Been coming here for over 15 years and always had great food and reasonable prices. Walk in and let them know how many scoops of what dish you want they can also make you fresh soup.
Like the place and I go here after work but the only bad side is that one of the cooks stares me down every time I visit but I mean other than that this is a great place for some quick lunch
This place is great. $8. Was dinner and lunch for two of us. We live a block away. This was our third visit in 2 weeks. We will be going frequently. Great price. Great food.
